Starter Pack for Astronomers

In this course, we will learn how to navigate the night sky, including knowing relative positions based on the stars and the planets at any given time and based on your location on the planet. Looking back at human history people roamed the Earth and knew their direction and where things on Earth were located based on the constellations, season, and planets visible. We will also grow an understanding of how stellar objects recycle constantly. Going through the process of birth -> life -> death and how that seeds NEW stellar life including the most powerful interstellar objects. Lastly, WHY!? Why is this important? Why even bother becoming an astronomer or astronomically literate? How has space technology changed life on earth and how can innovative thinkers like yourselves further technological and human evolution? Why do we want to evolve? How can we solve problems here on earth with the knowledge of the cosmos? How can we merge creativity with science? These questions will be the underlying motto of this course.
